The ride will be in Custer at a very nice campground. The Broken Arrow. Their web address is: www.brokenarrowhorsecamp.com You will be responsible to making reservations FOR CAMPING and paying for them, The charges for the ride will include a pen for your horses. Some of the pens are large so if you have horses that can be stalled together please indicate this, to help us save on space. We will be riding Friday afternoon, Saturday and a short ride on Sunday. The campgrounds will be reserved for a few days before and after the weekend ride for those that want to spend a longer vacation in South Dakota.
MEALS: Will be served by Clayton Sanders and will be cooked in Dutch ovens over an open fire, chuck wagon style.
RIDE FEES: Adults $150, Children under 12 and non riders $110; Fee includes: Ride, evening meal on Friday, 3 meals on Saturday, breakfast on Sunday, a pen for 1 horse, This fee MUST BE PAID IN ADVANCE, mail to: Sharon Karp: 21960 New Underwood Rd, New Underwood, SD 57761
NOTES: Things to remember! There will be a temporary membership to the SDPHC of $5.00 this will be for the weekend ride and will be collected when you sign up.
• Because the ride will be in rocky conditions all horses should be shod.
